The attention stance (Charyeot Seogi) is not a fighting or movement stance — it is a posture of readiness, respect, and discipline. It is held when the instructor calls "Charyeot!" (Attention!) at the beginning and end of class, before bowing (Gyeong-nye), and any time the practitioner is standing at rest but in a formal context. Correct attention stance communicates focus and respect.
