The ready stance (Junbi Seogi) is the transitional stance used between poomsae sequences and when the instructor signals readiness. It is called at the beginning of a form ("Junbi!") and marks the student as prepared to begin. Unlike the attention stance, the ready stance positions the hands in front of the body, signalling active readiness rather than passive respect.
